The MBA in Logistics & Supply Chain Management program has been designed to suit the requirement of the manager involved in a supply chain’s operational activity like Procurement, production, Planning, Logistics, Distribution Planning and strategic activities like vendor selection and Management, SCM Network optimization and Product /Process re-design for SCM and to equip Managers and Practitioners with the key concepts and practices associated with SCM. The role of the Logistics & Supply Chain Manager has been progressively shifting from being supply-focused to demand-focused owing to the increasing competitiveness of the business environment. In particular, as online e-commerce facilities have eased the entire shopping process, the supply units need to cope up with the immense demand for different commodities that queue up in their delivery lists. That said, profound knowledge around how to integrate different units of the supply chain to enhance cost and time efficiency is required. This program exactly caters to that requirement, and basically unravels the different facets of the fairly complex SCM process.

You will develop a deep strategic understanding of the different functions within organisations. You will also learn how to re-apply the best of international management practices and how to implement approaches that deliver outstanding results.

The value of procurement, learn the five rights of purchasing, Checklist for supplier evaluation and the purchasing cycle. Critically manage competitive bidding with RFPs and RFQs and adapt the techniques for successful negotiation.
  • Place a firm grip on the ideas of risk management and Agile procurement. Understand the role of cross-functional teams in purchasing and procurement, Tools of the trade, such as EDI, ERP, and e-commerce.
  • Learn and apply warehouse or stockroom leader’s terms related to warehouse management; goals, objectives, and measurements in inventory management; using aspects of the inventory cycle; how to improve inventory accuracy.

Admission to the MBA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management is open to students from all disciplines.

  • Recognised Bachelor’s Degree in any field or Equivalent level
  • Professional/life experiences and prior learning credits are available
  • English Level – IELTS Level 5.0 or High School study of all subjects in English or at least 55% marks in English in your High School is desired
  • Knowledge of the Internet and browsing, MS Word and Online Research Skill is desired

Program Requirements

All our Master’s programs under the Faculty of Education has four distinct parts:

  • Part One – Foundation Course which comprises of 10 credits and 2 Subject
  • Part Two – Core Program comes with 30 credits and 6 Subjects
  • Part Three – Specialization of Subjects comes with 20 credits divided into 4 Specialized subjects
  • Part Four – Capstone Project which is a reflective research work comprises of 30 credits

To receive a degree in the programme of study the student must achieve the following:

  • Complete and successfully pass Foundation, Core, Specialization and Capstone Project as prescribed in the programme specification.
  • Obtain a mark of 50% and above to satisfactorily pass each subject as the Capstone Project.
  • Complete the full programme of study in minimum duration of 12 months, and a maximum duration of up to 24 months. After 30 month's duration from enrollment date, the student would need to pay a maintenance bench fee for additional months of extension.
  • Students can attend 6 Live Online Webinar Sessions during the year and use one of that as a Capstone Project to complete a reflective paper.

  1. Prepare a paper on any one topic of from your specialization – 5000 words
  2. Attend any seminar on your Specialization subject in your region and create a reflective paper on the same – 5000 words
  3. Research Paper –Project Management – 5000 words

Scholarships:

East Bridge College offers tuition scholarships and financial aid for its online learning degree programs. The tuition scholarship fund for distance learning degree programs will be granted depending on the policy and the Dean’s office from time to time. Upon request, EBC may offer you: Academic Scholarship, Athletic Scholarship, Creative Scholarships and Community Service Scholarship.

Refund Policy

Once students register for a course, they are responsible for dropping any course they decide not to attend.

  • Once you have enrolled in the program and you wish to immediately pull out before any access has been granted - 50% of the tuition fee will be refunded
  • No refund for students who have received course access and have already started off with the program from EBC
  • Read all Terms and Conditions before making payments
  • Processing of refunds make take up to 3 months
